Charity Support Provided for a Gentleman in Need

MidasPlus charity are pleased to report that we have successfully funded through the charity the deep clean required for a gentleman returning home after a period of respite care in an extra care housing facility. Upon his return, his home has now been professionally cleaned, ensuring a safe and hygienic living environment.

This gentleman faced multiple health challenges and due to his mobility issues, he was unable to maintain his home independently, leading to significant hygiene concerns, including urine-stained carpets. MidasPlus was able to provide the necessary funding for a thorough deep clean, significantly reducing health risks and improving his overall well-being.

This charity funding assistance has ensured that he can transition back home in a dignified and comfortable environment. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this possible. Your support continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.

Bridging the Digital Divide: MidasPlus Provides Laptops to Children in Need

At MidasPlus, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential. In today’s world, access to technology is no longer a luxury—it is a necessity. However, for many families struggling with financial hardship, providing a laptop for their child’s education is simply not an option. That’s where MidasPlus steps in.

We are proud to have helped numerous school-age children in North Surrey by providing them with laptops, ensuring they have the tools needed to complete their studies, engage with online learning, and stay connected with their teachers and peers. These laptops have made a profound difference in the lives of the children we support, giving them the same opportunities as their classmates and reducing the risk of falling behind academically.

The need for digital access became especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic when remote learning highlighted the gap between those with access to technology and those without. Even now, many families continue to struggle with the cost of essential devices. Our initiative aims to close this gap and support young learners in the Boroughs of Spelthorne & Runnymede who would otherwise be at a disadvantage.
