Buy a duck for the special half price schools & charity rate of £25 and make money for your cause.
The BIG DUCKS are 32cm. We race them down the River Colne and Thames on Staines-upon-Thames Day. Decorate your duck in your charity/school colours or with an interesting theme.
How to make money for your charity or school?
Ask members and friends of your charity to bid for the fun of decorating your duck.
5 bids of £5 pays for it and the rest is profit! Or you could do a raffle!
If they win the Best Decorated Duck competition, judged by the Mayor of Spelthorne, there is a prize of £100.
Decorate it yourselves and win the prize.

For the WINNER of the race you get: Dinner, Overnight Accommodation and Breakfast plus the use of the Spa at The Runnymede on Thames as well as £500 for your charity.
Keep the £500 for your charity or school. Auction or raffle the Runnymede Hotel prize.
Even if you don’t win the race you can auction or raffle your duck to raise funds and buy another one next year or keep it and enter next year at £15.
If you would like a duck, please complete and return the online entry form and make a payment – see your Big Duck Web Page for details. We will deliver a duck to you. Once decorated, please send a photo of your decorated duck so that we can put it on Facebook. Also we are hoping to have live video of the race screened on the day and put onto YouTube – so you get a bit more publicity!
We aim to have over 100 decorated ducks – it’s a great spectacle!
