| CREST has changed greatly over the last 2 years due to Covid, in the way we work and communicate with our membership (Cancer Patients and Carers plus interested parties.) We are now considered much more as a medical need in the community. We also are wanting to secure a new service = Indian Head Massage at a reduced rate of £10 that is desperately needed by our patients. As we don’t currently have the funding to start this service it is paused until we secure funds. So far approx 30 patients have been identified as needing this, but we know there is a greater demand for others to access it once we advertise the service to the fuller membership. Securing this grant will ensure our patients continue to receive the vital treatments they need. It will also enable us to expanded treatments to waiting patients . Indian Head Massage is beneficial to patients undergoing chemo especially with cold caps.
