New Flooring for a Disabled Gentleman

To cut a long story short, the Housing Association and the Councils would not fund this! See the before & after photos below

A very big thank you to MidasPlus for organising and funding Darren’s new floor. It looks fantastic and I cannot stress the difference it will make to his day to day living, and I’m sure will improve his mental well being. It  was always a great worry regarding the health aspect as well, as apart from losing his leg he then lost a toe on his foot due to infection. This new flooring will be easy to keep clean as the concrete was porous and harboured all sorts of nasties!
I’ve known Darren since he was a child and this really is his first real home and although he finds it hard to show thanks he is so pleased.
I cannot thank you all enough for the work you do supporting people with physical and learning difficulties, it makes such a difference to so many.
